Dust Deposition Gauges
Establishment and maintenance of dust deposition gauges in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 3580.10.1:2016. Dust deposition gauges allow our clients to monitor deposited particulate matter which rapidly settles from the air. Our dedicated Field Technicians service the dust deposition gauges in the field on a monthly basis, and the particulates are analysed by a NATA accredited laboratory. Our experienced team of Environmental Scientists then critically assess and validate the data to ensure that the reported results meet the required criteria.
High Volume Air Samplers (HVAS)
Operation and maintenance of High Volume Air Samplers (HVAS) for the collection of airborne particulates (PM10, PM2.5, and TSP). The HVAS draws a large known volume of air through a pre-weighed filter for 24 hours, with the filter trapping the particles as air passes through the instrument. After sampling, the filter is re-weighed and the difference in filter weight is the collected particulate matter mass. Dividing the mass by the volume of air sampled gives the concentration of particulates.
HVAS sampling usually takes place at 6-day intervals. Filters are changed manually and sent to a NATA accredited laboratory for weighing and analysis. Our dedicated Field Technicians are trained in the correct operation and maintenance of HVAS, as well as calibration at the required intervals.

Tapered Element Oscillating Microbalance (TEOM)
Continuous air quality monitoring of PM10 and PM2.5 using Tapered Element Oscillating Microbalance (TEOM) air quality monitors which transmit data via our Teledata telemetry system to a database on a dedicated server. SMS alerts and data requests are available to our client and data in charts and download files are available over the internet. This allows our clients to view or obtain their data easily, whenever they require, as well as the option to log in to the system to change their own alarm levels at any time.
